I hope Peter O’Toole appears in this season. They are far too telling though simply cracking a text book would tell the curious of the events depicted. I skipped the part of the beginning of The Tudors Season 3, Episode 1 with the scenes from the rest of the season. Henry is already looking at other women days after his wedding though he is trying not to. King Henry is so capricious it is absurd and he is descending farther and farther down the road of a joke, a dangerous joke. It was sad what she was forced to do to regain the favor of her father, the king again. Mary Tudor has been abandoned by The Emperor of Spain and the Church. The pesky Catholics are pissed their monasteries are being pillaged and that their holidays are being withdrawn by Thomas Cromwell’s reformation.

All is not well in the kingdom, not that it ever was. The Tudors Season 3, Episode 1 opens with King Henry marrying his most recent true love, Jane Seymour, in the hopes of achieving his long sought after male heir to the throne.
